Earth day

The first Earth Day was held April 22, 1970. Its message was "Give Earth a Chance." Earth Day is a time for people to focus on saving the environment and take part in activities that promote the health of the earth, its oceans, air, and land.

Earth Day encourages environmental education, recycling, and an awareness of the earth's natural resources.
